THE END OF THE FUTURE. Visual identity for TEDxKatowice 2025

What is it about?
The visual identity project for TEDxKatowice 2025: “THE END OF THE FUTURE” is a visual narrative about the tension between the present and an uncertain future. The central graphic motif is a deconstructed clock—fragmenting dials and hands symbolize time that is flowing, suspended, and looped. The project moves beyond static graphics by introducing interactive elements: badges featuring open-ended questions and a shared timeline for recording participants’ thoughts. The theme of “Cycles” is realized here through the clock motif, as well as the structure of the conference itself, based on a repetitive rhythm of listening, reflection, and discussion that builds a cyclical process of exchanging ideas.

Why was it created and for whom?
The identity was created for TEDx conference participants and individuals seeking deeper reflection on the direction of civilizational changes. The goal of the project was to create a space where design provokes dialogue and forces one to pause. Instead of traditional badges, the designer proposed a networking tool, making participants co-creators of the event. This project is for those who believe that the future is not linear but a collection of looped questions. The identity transforms the conference into a living record of collective consciousness, emphasizing that the end of one vision of the future is always the beginning of a new thought cycle.
