What is it about?

The project features a hanging bird feeder specifically designed for fat balls. The feeder is integrated with a waterer that simultaneously serves as a protective base. Based on a circular layout, the construction utilizes wooden rings to faithfully reflect natural forms and ensure optimal ergonomics for birds. The design combines feeding with water access, creating a cohesive and aesthetic support point for the urban ecosystem.

Why was it created and for whom?

The feeder was created for small birds wintering in cities and for environmentally conscious users. The primary goal was to design an easy-to-use object that promotes the use of fat balls—identified by the author as the most nutritious food source. The choice of wood as a material and the ring-based form aim to minimize the barrier between the artificial object and the natural environment, ensuring safety and comfort for birds while foraging.
