BUJU

What is it about?
The project features a rocking stool made of beechwood, designed as an alternative seat that supports the body through movement. The object is characterized by a clear, minimalist construction that combines the function of utility furniture with a tool for improving the comfort of sedentary work. Through its subtle rocking motion, the design aligns with the theme “Cycles,” referencing the natural, repetitive rhythms of the human body – the alternating sequence of tension and relaxation.

Why was it created and for whom?
The piece was created for the modern user who spends many hours in a sitting position and seeks solutions that promote health and concentration. The project is dedicated to individuals who are conscious of their bodies’ needs and value natural materials and physically engaging forms. The goal was to create an object that not only complements workspace and relaxation areas but also provides active support for well-being by encouraging micro-movements in daily routines.
