What is it about?

The project involves creating a comprehensive and authentic brand identity for Poklask – a Polish bakery and café that blends traditional craftsmanship with modern sensibility. The visual identity is based on an expression that combines classics with current trends, using a hand-drawn logo, analog-created textures, and motifs referencing the aesthetics of old recipe notebooks. The design communicates a commitment to the highest quality and focuses on simple, sweet pastries made with local ingredients according to timeless recipes.

Why was it created and for whom?

The project was developed for a local café to distinguish it from the competition and highlight the artisanal nature of its products. It is aimed at individuals seeking honest flavor, authenticity, and places with a “soul.” The goal was to build a brand image that celebrates respect for heritage and pride in one’s own work. Through thoughtful design, Poklask aims to build a relationship with customers for whom an artisanal pastry is a moment “worthy of applause” (poklask), combining the joy of eating with an aesthetic experience.
