What is it about?

“Polski Kunszt” (Polish Craftsmanship) is a social project dedicated to promoting local creators and artisans who produce unique, handmade objects. This initiative uncovers the richness of regional handicraft and helps sustain vanishing craft skills. Within the project, design serves a narrative function—telling stories of specific workshops and the people behind them, bringing their work closer to a wider audience. It is a space that cultivates local culture and gives traditional craftsmanship a contemporary, recognizable visual identity.

Why was it created and for whom?

The project was created as a response to the challenges faced by small, one-person workshops when confronted with mass production. It is aimed at both artisans in need of promotional support and conscious consumers seeking authentic, one-of-a-kind objects “with a soul.” The goal was to build a bridge between these two groups. The initiative allows creators to reach a wider audience while giving the community a chance to connect with living heritage and build direct relationships with the people who create it.
