KOOMPLE
Description
KOOMPLE is an idea birthed by the need to spend time with my best friend that would result in a lasting, visual effort. KOOMPLE itself is a play on the Polish word “kumple” meaning “buddies” and an inside joke between the authors, which gives the design an authentic touch. The project itself was meant to be something shared between the authors and friends but after publishing it on social media it garnered a wider response: now people outside the authors’ circle wear the design and gift it to their friends. The project itself opened the authors up to participate in more collaborative projects with other artists and friends. There might be no better testament to a relationship than a co-created creative effort.
The target group are people looking for apparel celebrating their friendships.
