Description

The goal of the project was to reduce the number of motors and electronic components in the kitchen space and extend the life cycle of appliances by incorporating circular strategies.

The modular design enables users and the manufacturer to expand
the set with separate functional elements: motor module + blender, nut and coffee grinder (with the NFC tag, the motor adapts the maximum speed to the certain component). The integration of the product into the kitchen space encourages users to choose repair services instead of resorting to buying new appliances. The iterative design process included: disassembly and analysis of the construction and design of an existing juicer and blender (circularity
assessment), sketches, 3D models, 3D printed mock-ups (PLA).

The project addresses consumers who want to consciously choose products that promote a long life cycle.
