Piotr Welk (PL) - AGRAFA

He studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, obtaining his diploma in the studio of Prof. Waldemar Świerzy in 1998. At his alma mater, he works at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and runs the Multimedia Artistic Creation studio. He works in the area of new graphic techniques and technologies, sometimes called digital graphics, used in animation, film and visual communication strategies, which provide enormous possibilities of precise imaging, unknown until recently. He creates posters, graphic design of books, drawings, paintings, photography and video art, computer graphics in 2D and 3D techniques, computer animations and special effects for animated films. He is the author of multimedia installations. In the poster, he combines traditional techniques with computer graphics. Using computer techniques, he introspects into the matter of objects with unprecedented image resolution, mapping the almost molecular structure of graphic lines, points and molecules. Hailed by Paweł Miszewski as a “digital argonaut”.
