Jacek Mrowczyk

Curator of the AGRAFA’22 conference, responsible for the content-related part of the conference and contact with the speakers; has been curating the AGRAFA conference since 2010.

Graphic designer, curator, editor. In 2001-2016, co-founder and editor of the “2+3D” Polish nationwide design quarterly. Author of articles and publications on contemporary applied graphics, including: “Niewielki słownik typograficzny (“A Small Typographical Dictionary”), co-author of “PGR. Projektowanie graficzne w Polsce” (“PGR. Graphic Design in Poland”) and „Historia projektowania graficznego” (“History of Graphic Design”), editor of the book “Piękni XX-wieczni. Polscy projektanci graficy” (“The 20th-century beautiful. Polish Graphic Designers”) and co-editor of the collection of texts on design titled “Widzieć/Wiedzieć”(“To See/To Know”). Grantee of the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission at Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York (2001/2002) and of the Kościuszko Foundation at Rhode Island School of Design in Providence (2006/2007). Since 2007, he has been working at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Katowice. Lecturer at RISD in Providence (USA).
