Aleksandra Mikocka - AGRAFA

Responsible for the visual identity of AGRAFA. Together with Konrad Sikora she won the competition for the graphic design of the event, developed the concept and prepared the design. The work on identification became the subject of the students’ combined diploma project. In this two-man team she presents a systematic approach to the topic. Responsible for typography, rules, grids, sizes, proportions. She has developed the principles of the visual key and oversees its appropriate application.

First degree student of 4th year at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. At the beginning of her design journey but yet fascinated by typography and the construction of typefaces. She is keen on the development of information and identification systems.

To me, BEYOND means…
Going beyond the usual patterns, taking risks and breaking barriers, changing perspectives and trying new things. It is a slogan that I want to work with not only when working on the AGRAFA identity but throughout my future design career.
