It collaborates with research institutions and experts to enhance students’ knowledge and skills and understanding of ergonomics as a science that supports innovation. The topics covered are in areas where ergonomic design is a fundamental criterion in shaping objects or processes. They include topics such as: workstations, medical devices or equipment to assist people with disabilities.

Our purpose is to introduce the Ergonomic Design Studio as well as the topic, process and results of the project carried out by the students last semester. joint semester project: Increasing fine motor skills in post-stroke patients The Ergonomic Design Studio educates students in design that meets the needs of different social groups. They include topics such as: workstations, medical devices or equipment to assist people with disabilities. Karolina Wiktor, a visual artist is overcoming the effects of a stroke. She has become a social activist working for the recovery of motor and cognitive function of people similar to her case. The project is to join these efforts, especially in improving hand movements and cognitive functions. Stroke is one of the most common causes of death in our country and a major cause of permanent disability.
