Creating a Welcoming Student Guide: Between Legibility and Emotion
Using the example of a Graphic Design Faculty welcome guide for Erasmus students, I would like to reflect on how we practice Design for Need, or people-oriented design, today. The aim was to create an affordable, minimalistic, and legible guide that would also remain human and personal. I will briefly present the final concept, explain how functional constraints shaped its visual form, and outline areas for future development.
