Every font is an opinion

Typography is never neutral; it is part of a complex cultural ecosystem built on cycles of invention, imitation and reinforcement. Today, these cycles are increasingly dictated by reused data and algorithmic legacies. This talk investigates how systemic bias is “baked into” typographic environment and explores how designers can maintain agency and awareness within these automated feedback loops.
