Tool or catalyst? A critical analysis of AI agency in project-based teaching

This presentation introduces the ‘OdkrywAI’ project (Collegium Da Vinci), carried out as part of a course on visual identity. The analysis examines the limits of AI agency in the design of social campaigns. By juxtaposing two approaches – the instrumental (technical support) and the speculative (recreation of memories) – the method of documenting and evaluating prompts will be discussed. This is a study of a process in which AI becomes a research method, compelling students to engage in self-reflection and redefine their practice.
