Karolina Hołdys (PL)

Industrial design and visual communication designer. Winner of the 2017 Young Design competition, which identifies the new generation’s most promising designers, organized by the Institute of Industrial Design under the patronage of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. Since 2017, she has been a lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Katowice in the Product Design and Ergonomics Studio, where she focuses mainly on issues related to the humanization of products and space. Since 2021, she has been a member of the FuseLab collective, focusing on promoting the idea of designing from second-hand materials. Her most recent design achievements include the title of finalist of the Ro Plastic Prize in Milan (2022) and the participation of her Rubber Bumper project in the finals of the 2022 Good Design competition.
