Furniture and interior designer. A graduate of bachelor’s studies at the Faculty of Interior Design at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. She completed her diploma in 2025 under the supervison of Łukasz Sarnat, PhD, DSc, Professor at the Academy. In 2024/25 she was awarded Rector’s Scholarship for outstanding students. Her furniture has been exhibited nationally and internationally (Design Without Borders’24, KIAF 2024, AGRAFA’2024). She’s passionate about nature-oriented design and also develops her artistic practice in the field of painting and relief.
Symbiotic design. Can furniture grow roots?
In an era of climate crisis, design becomes a tool for restoring balance between technology and nature. Using my graduation project “HUBA. A support system for hiking trails” as an example, I will discuss systemic design aligned with the circular economy, harmony within natural cycles and the designer’s role in initiating social change. The transition from identifying a problem, through prototyping, to developing a solution that creates new value will also be presented.
