The project is based on the contrast between the monumental, austere forms of Gothic lettering and the playful, humorous character of ancient marginalia. Visually, the typeface juxtaposes heavy, geometric shapes with soft, dancing gestures and illustrative glyphs. It is aimed at designers seeking typefaces that bridge tradition and digital expression. Quirkquill also reflects the designer\u2019s personal design process\u2014from initial sketch to iterative refinement.
