The author aimed to enhance comfort during rose harvesting, addressing workers’ needs. This resulted in the creation of protective sleeves with storage functionality. The design process involved observation and interviews with employees, desk research, digital sketching, material selection, construction and prototyping. The project was created for individuals who spend 8 hours a day harvesting roses, being exposed to frequent scratches and high temperatures in the greenhouse.
